Reset Password

When resetting your password, it is important to be aware of the following consequences. Since various pieces of information in the user database are stored exclusively encrypted using the individual password of each user, it is not possible to recover this information with a newly set password.

This information will be irretrievably deleted:

• All the data you have stored in your data depot.
• Access to each of your E4-Cloud ships. If you are the exclusive user of an E4Cloud ship, the ship will be completely deleted.
• If you are working with encrypted MOS data on local ships, this MOS data will no longer be readable after resetting the password.
• Your ship inbox within your ship browser. All ships sent to you via E4-Cloud will be deleted from your inbox.
• The SVN password stored in your profile.

The following data is not affected:

All data stored on their local Linux system or in the Guacamole server's file directory will be not affected. Data on the local file system is not affected by a password reset. Local ships with unencrypted MOS data will be retained and can continue to be used normally.
